Finance Manager - Global Financial Reporting Systems Our client, a multinational FTSE 100 Consumer Health/FMCG organisation is urgently recruiting for Finance Manager - Global Financial Reporting Systems This role is responsible for supporting the global finance and business users with month/quarter end processes, plan/forecast processes, operational change management, continuous improvement and coordinating ad-hoc finance projects. They will have primary responsibility for the day to day operations of Finance Systems with a strong hands-on approach Rate: £400 per day + (negotiable) Duration: 3 months (likely to be extended) Location: East Berkshire/M4 Corridor This role has significant cross functional responsibility at Global HQ, driving the use of the global finance systems across the sales, category, finance and corporate functions. This role serves as a key business partner to the finance group. The scope of the role includes: * Responsible for the month end process from a Finance Systems perspective e.g. open periods, exchange rates reconciliation * Responsible for ensuring the group's primary financial reporting systems are capable of meeting requirements (including monthly management reporting, external quarterly, half yearly and annual reporting, forecasting and budgeting) * Monitor and manage month end close and consolidate processes and systems (Actuals, Plan and Forecast) * Ownership of, coordinating and supporting the monthly/quarterly/annual consolidation process for the group and over 100 local operating companies * Change management and maintenance of the group's key financial and management reporting systems, including Hyperion HFM, ICE and fire * Maintain and ensure relevant system and process documentation is kept current * Ensuring system integrity across financial systems and performing monthly reconciliations between financial systems * Month End, Plan & Forecast Close and Consolidation Key Experience and Qualifications * Recognised Finance Qualification (CPA/ACMA/ACA or equivalent) * Team management experience * Solid understanding of finance processes and systems is essential * Experience of administering/maintaining a system required as a minimum * Experience of working within a multinational corporate environment
