Client Services Director
Our client is an international medical communications agency, which has a requirement for a Client Services Director (CSD) to lead a team from their Cheshire based offices. You will provide overall strategic and commercial direction of the business unit so that both client and company objectives are met. This is a leadership role, which involves developing long-term, effective client business relationships at the brand director and department head level. You will be accountable for delivering business growth across a portfolio of products/clients whilst identifying new business opportunities outside existing clients. In addition you will oversee the talent management for the team, ensuring it is resourced in line with business demands. As a member of the senior management group you will be expected to forge relationships across company divisions and departments to facilitate harmonious team working and to champion best practices. Responsibilities: Build and develop long lasting client relationships Lead discussions on marketing strategy/ product positioning Provide direction for scientific content Coaching, training and developing staff within the unit Lead pitches, as appropriate, working with cross-functional team Final responsibility for delivery of business-wide targets and profitability Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Relevant commercial and operational experience within a medical communications agency with a demonstrable track record of handling brands across the pharmaceutical product lifecycle Senior leader, motivator, and high level networker The ability to lead discussion on marketing strategy, product positioning, and influence direction and content for brands at all stages of lifecycle Able to generate creativity in others and able to deliver through others Strong influencing and negotiating skills Excellent verbal and written communication Confident and decisive, determined and committed Clarity and sound judgement Strong coaching and mentoring skills If you are seeking a leadership role with plenty of scope for onward development, our client would be keen to speak to you!
