Copywriter / Senior Copywriter
As a result of business growth, our client has a new opportunity for an experienced medical copywriter to join their team in either their London or Cheshire offices to create and develop learning programmes and interactive digital assets. Our client is a leading global healthcare communications agency that provides tailored medical education and healthcare learning to their global pharmaceutical clients. They work on e-learning programs, virtual events and digital tools and resources for a range of healthcare professional audiences. Responsibilities: Developing creative content for healthcare learning assignments, including e-learning courses, interactive online resources, virtual and live meetings, apps and other mobile learning resources Adapting writing styles and tones to suit the target audiences including internal commercial teams, medical affairs teams, external HCPs and patients Understanding, developing and applying web-based/e-learning authoring approaches and instructional design methodologies to create effective learning content Collaboration with a highly creative team of designers and technologists to deliver visually impactful multimedia materials Working with the client services team throughout the life of a project, from initial scoping to final delivery, as well as supporting the creation of business development proposals and pitches Offering guidance and support to trainee members of the writing team Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Significant experience of medical copywriting or medical writing gained within a medical communications agency or related pharmaceutical role Life science degree, preferably a higher degree The ability to transform complex scientific information into engaging and effective learning content, with a keen eye for detail An appreciation of good design, a creative approach, and excellent Microsoft Office skills A high level of enthusiasm for science and healthcare topics coupled with a team-orientated and collaborative approach An understanding of pharma compliance and content review platforms (such as Zinc MAPS) This role will offer creativity for a medical writer looking to move away from “dryer” medical communications projects.
