Duties as a Registered Nurse:

Nurses play a pivotal role within the nursing homes. Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of the people you are looking after. It will be important that you know what makes a difference to them and what makes them smile.

We need you to be responsible for their emotional and physical wellbeing and play an active part in encouraging their participation in occupational and meaningful activities.

As a nurse will lead and support the care team to provide the highest quality care, making critical decisions and leading on clinical issues within a person-centred care model. The role holds responsibility for the quality of nursing assessments, care planning, implementation and evaluation and associated care team training issues to ensure that at all times residents receive an excellent standard of care.

Due to the complexity of care residents receive all nurses are kept up-to-date with the latest clinical developments so will be provided with training and mentoring should you need it.
