Client Information:
Our client is one of London's leading private hospitals and rated as one of the best in terms of standard of care and hotel like service. The hospital itself boasts a number of clinics under one roof offering a full range of services to inpatients, day case and outpatients and a range of specialties with rapid assessment, intervention and treatment.

We are currently looking to recruit some a Sister to work in the outpatient department of the hospital. With plans to expand the outpatient service into a brand new building, there is a great opportunity to develop and grow in this role.

Working as the Sister/Charge Nurse you will be responsible for managing the clinical caseload for the unit while supporting all junior members of staff. You will have clinical ownership of the unit when in charge and you will also involve acting as a support to the Head of Outpatients at the hospital, helping to ensure the correct delivery of service. You will encapsulate the ethos of the hospital supporting patients through their journey. Part of your day to day will involve preparing for clinics, staff allocation, complaints management & stock ordering. Working alongside the Head of Outpatients you will plan, develop and implement new policies and procedures to continuously improve the service. A vital part of your role will be ensuring you provide clinical leadership to all members of staff on the unit
Working hours are Monday to Friday with occasional weekends however flexibility is required depending on the needs of the service.

To be considered for this role you will:

Extensive experience of working in an outpatient setting covering various specialties
Experience of working as a Senior Nurse or above
A&E, ITU or HDU experience is desirable
IV, Phlebotomy and Cannulation
Be a good team leader
Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
Adhere to confidentiality
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate
