PAREXEL is looking to recruit experienced Director level Pharmacometricians to join our team in Quantitative Clinical Development (QCD). We are looking for candidates that can work home based in the US or Europe or in our office in Raleigh, NC.The Pharmacometrics Director will manage exciting client projects and work on our expanding modelling and simulation project portfolio, providing expertise into study design, data analysis and interpretation. The successful candidate will provide both hands on modelling and simulation work and leadership to ensure the strategic application of Clinical Pharmacokinetic (PK), Pharmacodynamic (PD), and Modeling & Simulation (MS) principles towards efficient drug development.Key Accountabilities:Hands on modeling and simulation to analyze clinical PK/PD data. To work with the clinical teams to design and execute PK/PD components of clinical trials.To ensure the development and implementation of model based drug development.Responsible for authoring or contributing to clinical PK/PD sections of study and regulatory documents.To provide training and scientific support to junior PK staff.To attend client meetings and represent Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology aspects as needed. QualificationsSkills:Extensive experience in modelling and simulation using NONMEM and other modelling software.Strong experience with the design and implementation of Model-Based Drug Development strategies.Expertise with Pharmacometric methodologies (e.g., disease modelling, conc-QT analysis, clinical trial simulation, etc)Relevant experience in clinical drug development of both NCEs and biologicals.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Client focused approach to work ethic.Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.Demonstrated understanding of the drug development process and a broad knowledge of FDA and EMEA guidelines. Education:Advanced science degree (PhD, PharmD) and/or relevant experience
