Look no further, apply today. Novartis is currently recruiting for a Medical Therapeutic Area Head to join the Ophthalmology franchise. The Medical Therapeutic Area Head provides leadership within the Medical department for their Therapeutic Area to drive Novartis Brand adoption, pipeline molecule management and successful delivery of Novartis clinical trials programmes. Key Responsibilities: • Provides day to day support and coaching to all team operationally and functionally manages the Medical Advisors and Scientific Advisors within their Therapy Area. • Provides therapeutic area direction to the field based MDAs and nurse advisors (in combination with the Head SciOps & MDM) • Inputs into the priorities and outputs from Clinical Project Managers (supported by the Clinical Project Team Leader) Manages resources as appropriate to address the business needs. • Recruits and retains high calibre associates About Novartis: Our mission is to care and cure; We want to discover, develop and successfully market innovative products to prevent and cure diseases, to ease suffering and to enhance the quality of life.
