Job DescriptionBrief Outline
Experienced Drylining Contracts Manager required for an established Drylining business based in Essex.

About the Client
Established for over 25 years my client are a leading Essex based Drylining Contractor who are looking to add to their current senior management team. They specialise within Residential and Commercial projects with values reaching upwards of £4M. They have an incredibly low staff turnover and have a young vibrant team so this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. The successful Contracts Manager will have proven experience within Drylining and have a stable working history.

About the Role
Fully responsible for the running of 2-3 projects at any one time
One of the jobs will be a £3.8m Drylining package in East London. 220 units and you will be responsible for two Site Managers
Another project will be a £700k package for 10 new build Timber Frame houses and 30 flats
Issue progress reports to the Main Contractor on a weekly basis
Attend site progress meetings on site and at head office weekly
Coordinate all deliveries of material and the daily workload of all fixers and labourers in accordance with the Main Contractors programme
Coordinate all works with all other associated sub-contractors on site to ensure their products fit when they arrive
Responsible for Health & Safety
Ensure projects are completed on time, to budget and defects free

About the Candidate
Prior experience as a Contracts Manager with demonstrated understanding of requirements of the role
Numerate and literate with very good spoken English.
Good knowledge of various computer packages including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
Have good practical organisation skills, planning of resources and programme scheduling
Be able to provide both summarised and detailed reports, on current activities
Prioritise and organise, taking a methodical approach
Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a high standard of personal performance
Flexible and reliable
Ability to use own initiative
Present information clearly, concisely and professionally
Attention to detail
Resolve issues fast and efficiently
Maintain relationships
Communicator & motivator with ability to communicate across all levels of seniority from the work face through to Senior Management level

Must be able to cover projects within the M25
Must be UK based
