We are currently seeking a flexible individual to join our team based in Wellingborough. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a site wide maintenance service, to the highest possible standards, across the southern manufacturing sites, and maintaining the company CMMS system, as well as working closely with a large operations team.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

+ Site wide maintenance and repairs
+ Intermediate bulk container (IBC) inspection, testing & repairs
+ Maintaining Planned Preventative Maintenance system (CMMS)
+ Departmental support, with Operations and Health & Safety
+ Daily liaison with Maintenance, Shift Managers, Production teams
+ Provision of effective and efficient response to equipment breakdowns
+ Work effectively with contractors when they are present on site
+ Working with permit to work control systems

We Are Looking For

+ Flexibility, self-motivation and the ability to work using your own initiative
+ A multi-skilled technician, with recognized engineering qualification/apprenticeship
+ Previous experience of fault finding, and a strong appreciation of Health & Safety
+ Previous industry experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Fitter / Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Process Technician / Shift Maintenance Engineer is preferred but not essential.


The ideal candidate will be prepared to work in a busy industrial and often challenging environment, ideally with knowledge of mechanical, electrical & pneumatics systems. A reasonable degree of computer literacy is essential.
