Primary Purpose

There is a requirement for a highly motivated and experienced CRM/Marketing Professional to join our expanding business as a CRM Manager.The successful candidate will become part of the CRM team, in a client facing environment.The CRM Manager will work across a broad range of diverse and successful clients, but predominantly in the retail fashion sector.Primarily responsibilities will include devising and executing tactical CRM/Marketing projects; expanding XCM’s understanding of the latest CRM tactics and technologies and bespoke client work ranging from campaign development to digital testing and marketing plans. We are seeking an agile self-starter who has the will and determination to succeed and advance take their marketing career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

·The successful candidate will have a broad marketing and database background, encompassing direct and digital marketing, preferably in B2C retail.

·Supporting the Director of CRM, they will need to be capable of devising and delivering innovative and complex multi-channel strategies across the entire XCM client base. They will also support with the progression of the XCM campaign framework and associated CRM client roadmaps.

·The successful candidate will be highly capable of crafting conceptual, high level marketing theories into polished and lucrative end-to-end strategic CRM projects for our clients.Being able to visualise and monetise perceived business uplift as a result is key.

·The successful candidate must be able to analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and deliver consistent campaign reviews, ensuring that all learnings are implemented in future campaigns.

·They should also be comfortable with scoping and devising all associated CRM & Campaign reporting, KPI’s and benchmarks.

·Again, supporting the Director of CRM, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing bespoke customer journey processes (i.e Welcome, Nursery, Churn, Reactivation)

·They will also be responsible for creating online and offline testing scenarios to support all associated campaigns and CRM strategies.

·The CRM Manager will be expected to attend, host and be comfortable with delivering face-to-face client meetings with client stakeholders at any level of the business.

·Experience of creating social media campaigns and strategies in order to advance XCM’s comprehension of this area.

·Other responsibilities will include; competitive insight & research projects, general client reporting, marketing communications, benchmarking & industry monitoring, working with Email Service Providers and supporting new business efforts.

Experience & Qualities (Essential)

·At least 3-4 years experience in a similar role

·Broad previous experience of conceptualizing, building, executing and evaluating marketing campaigns, CRM strategies and tactical projects.

·Comprehensive understanding of Direct & Digital Marketing.

·Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with key stakeholders across both XCM and our client’s businesses.

·Advanced comprehension of Microsoft Excel

·Very Good comprehension of Microsoft Word & Powerpoint

·Good comprehension of Profit & Loss, EBITDA, Demand Planning and fundamental marketing KPI’s.

·Good comprehension of Google Analytics or similar

·High level of numeracy, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

·First class presentation skills and finely tuned attention to detail

·Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.

·Ultra organized, thorough and observant

·Ability to see the bigger picture

·A basic understanding of web techniques and natural search optimization

Experience & Qualities (Advantageous)

·Experience of working with data mining and/or statistical analysis packages such as FastStats, SPSS, SQL, SAS etc.

·Experience of working with Apteco PeopleStage

·A marketing related degree or equivalent.

·B2C Retail background

·Client Services/Agency background

·Experience of working with demographic datasets such as CACI

·Proven ability to analyse and evaluate data
