Ignata Technology is working alongside an innovative Managed Service Provider in the Cyber arena as they look to appoint an IT Support Consultant to join their expanding operation.

Purpose of the role

* day to day support providing excellent customer service to all clients
* supporting a wide range of laptops and Mac’s
* installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
* planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
* setting up accounts for staff, providing support in during the setup process
* supporting HR in the induction process - laptop setups, training new starters on IT processes
* completing the leaver process – closing accounts in a timely manner
* solving password problems
* talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter
* responding to breakdowns
* investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
* repairing equipment and replacing parts

Skills required

* In-depth knowledge of hardware and software
* Good knowledge of ITIL
* Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends
* Strong customer service ethos
* Ability to work well with people
* Strong communications skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to quickly establish good working relationships with clients
* Patience
* A logical mind
