Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and organised Maintenance Operative to join our team. This is a full time role working 5 out 7 days, 37.5hrs per week, £7.50 per hour / £281.25 per week.

Who are we looking for?
As our ideal Maintenance Operative, you will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of health & safety and some experience within a similar role. You will also require experience / knowledge of:

- Upper Intermediate in spoken and written English
- Understanding of commercial cleaning and general building maintenance

What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service in our hotels. On a daily basis, this will involve:

- Performing multiple repair and maintenance task throughout the day, which could include, but it not limited to: carpentry work, general building repairs, painting, flooring, outdoor landscaping, snow removal and general facility repairs.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Clean the service yards, front of the hotels and hostels as scheduled and/or required
- Various cleaning projects i.e. deep cleaning of kitchens, building and tiling
- Dust furniture; equipment; partitions; walls etc.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and/or hand scrub floors
- Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to the Head of Department
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting
