About the Role:
For this 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant position you will be an assertive and amiable graduate who has the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, children and parents.
The school is looking to recruit a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant who has a strong understanding of SEN pupils and the specific learning needs they have. The appointed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant must show the ability to be charismatic and passionate about your mannerisms and go the extra mile.
You as the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant will be working with a pupil in Year 3 who has learning difficulties. The child has been statemented with Autism.
Whilst your main responsibilities as a SEN TA is to work with the pupil, there is also the opportunity to work with small groups as you support their learning and social development.
You will be closely liaising with the school SENCo and ensure the correct form of support is delivered.

The school set in Ealing offers education to primary aged children across the board.
The school is close Ealing Broadway station with good transport links into London and Slough.
This 2-form entry school is a good school graded by Ofsted in 2016. The school are eager to become an Outstanding school, therefore hoping to appoint strong SEN TA to be part of their success.
The school also has a very supportive Senior Leadership Team, with links to other Primary Schools within the borough of Ealing, working together as one.

Requirements for the Role:
Prior school based/childcare experience is essential
Educated to a degree level
Have a GCSE grade of C in both Mathematics and English Language.
Have good oral and written use of the English language

Rate of Pay and Working hours:
£75-85.00 per day depending on experience.
Your working hours will consist of 08:30am - 15:30pm, Monday to Friday with a 1 hour lunch.
Lunch will be provided by the school.

You must have recent and a minimum of six months' experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience, we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application.
