Business Systems Administrator

What is the role?
Based at the Sheffield head office, you will be reporting to and working with the IT manager to support seven sites across three continents. You will be involved in future implementation projects including full barcode scanning, business intelligence and the addition of a fourth overseas site to the ERP system. Additional, daily tasks will include:

• the support and maintenance of the company’s ERP system (Efacs version 8)
• the continued development of the ERP system to meet the growing business needs
• report writing
• data analysis
• systems testing
• ad-hoc analysis as required
• liaison with users at all levels both face to face and via phone/Skype

Who you are
To be considered for interview as Business Systems Administrator, you must have the following:

• Strong proven SQL administration & SQL scripting skills
• experience of running an ERP system, ideally in a manufacturing business
• report writing experience (Crystal, SSRS)
• data analysis skills
• experience of working within a project team
• an ability to work with people at all levels
• excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills
• a willingness to learn and develop
• an ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
• great attention to detail with a logical, methodical approach
• Java and BIRT knowledge or experience would be useful although not essential
