About the Role
A successful, happy and friendly school in East Barnet are looking to recruit an experienced Year 4 Teaching Assistant to support a child who has been diagnosed with ASC. The role is due to commence after February half term and continue long-term. You will work closely with the Year 4 pupil to help improve behaviour and ensure she is safe and learning during lessons. The school are looking for a resilient and determined TA as the child's behaviour and attitude can prove testing at times. The right candidate for this role will be able to set firm boundaries to help the child's behaviour improve. You will be required to support the child during all class lessons.

The two form entry Primary School is based in Finchley. The school's main aims are for all children to reach their full potential, enjoy learning, value themselves and feel safe, happy and healthy. The school have specialist teachers for music, art and PE and aim to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience for all. The school's senior leadership team are fantastic leaders and have made the school exceptionally successful over the past 10 years. The school is a short walk from the Northern Line and two local bus stops. The schools working hours are 8:30 am - 16:00 pm.

Requirements for the Role:
All applicants must have previous experience supporting pupils who have been diagnosed with Special Educational experience. Good knowledge of the UK curriculum is also required to be considered for this role including an excellent understanding of maths.
Rate of Pay and Working hours: £70-£80 per day, working hours of 08:30am - 3:30pm

You must have recent and a minimum of six months experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application
