Full Time Employability Tutor £24k Basic and possible £6k bonus per annum – North East Based Bowen Consulting is a leading business growth consultancy and training provider in the North East region and we have a new position for a Full-Time Employability Tutor. Are you looking for a new role with an exciting company, developing a new area of Employability which is key to the company’s growth? Bowen Consultancy is looking to expand its delivery staff and we have the opportunity for an experienced Employability Tutor to hit the ground running, building and delivering skills which are required to secure employment.

As an Employability Tutor you will be responsible for planning and delivering short Employability courses to a range of learners. The focus will be to build the skills they require to secure employment within the Tees Valley area and beyond. You will be responsible for retaining learners, providing them the best possible chance of achieving their goals. You will achieve this by offering a comfortable and engaging environment to learn in, contributing to an excellent overall learner experience. You will be required to develop individual support plans and develop and maintain a library of tools to support learners’ needs.

The successful applicants will have:
· A Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS) or above.
· Confidence in shaping standards (frameworks)
· Experience delivering Employability qualifications.
· Experience supporting a wide age range of learners (16-60yrs) to achieve qualifications.
· Excellent ICT skills to support delivery.
· Experience dealing with unemployed clients
· Strong classroom management including dealing with disruptive behaviour
· Skills, both written and verbal
· Be a very strong organiser to ensure deadlines are met.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and pay significant attention to detail.
· Be self-motivated and show ability to use own initiative, when either working alone or within a team.
· Worked to agreed retention and achievement targets.
· The ability to use creativity, and innovation to engage learners.
