Electrical Engineer, Leicester.

Here at Go Inspire, we have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Leicester. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary plus benefits including company pension, and 26 days holiday excluding public holidays. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £35k + overtime and call out payments, plus benefits including company pension, and 26 days holidays’ excluding public holidays.

As our Electrical Engineer, you will work a 37.5 hour week on a rotating shift of 06:00-13:30 and 13:30 -21:00, Monday to Friday.

There will be an opportunity to increase your earnings with an on call rota and overtime available.

The successful Electrical Engineer will:

- Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications to determine installation procedures. Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems.

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems.

- Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.

- Operate equipment to demonstrate proper use or to analyze malfunctions.

- Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components, replacing worn parts.

- Set up and test industrial equipment to ensure that it functions properly.

- Install repaired equipment in various settings.

- Develop or modify industrial electronic devices, circuits, or equipment, according to available specifications.

You will have the following skills and experience;

- City & Guilds Apprenticeship served

- Understand 17th Edition wiring regulations

- Good fault finding skills

- Have an understanding of Continuous Improvement techniques

- Have experience of working in a prodiction/manufacturing environment

- Experience/ability in installation work would be desired but is not essential
