CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team located in Stafford. The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Plant and Equipment and Building Services as required.

Role Summary:

Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site including, updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving performance of machinery, and improving / implementing the preventative maintenance program
Using new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment
Support others in the department in relation to Health and Safety, to be required to participate in a Health and Safety Council as required
Monitor BMS (Building Management System) and make changes where needed to
Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance Department
Write and follow Risk Assessments and be available to question any issues which arise
Follow all company procedures including following all company Health and Safety requirements and the use of Mobile Devices for processing work
Responsible for the department and deputise as the Shift Leader during annual leave or sickness
Work on Three Phase Systems with Voltages up to 440V
Work on Motors, Gearboxes, Valves encompassing Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Systems
Use Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM Maintenance System
Liaise with onsite Site Services to manage any Building Services related issues and respond confidently and accurately as required
Perform Maintenance on numerous Stafford Sites as work requires
Ensure all work undertaken is within own level of demonstrated competence including ad-hoc duties
Work an 8-hour shift 08:00-16:30

Experience Required:


Electrical Competences / Qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2, Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition
NVQ Qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical
Mechanical Competences / Qualifications (City and Guild’s Mechanical)
Knowledge of Building Management Systems
Rain water harvesting knowledge
PLC Diagnostics / Repair Competences
Experience of working on PLC Based Machines and CNC Machines
Ability to Fault Find on all types of Machinery
Flexible - may be required to work overtime


Qualification in DC Supply Circuits and Solar panels
Gas Safe Qualified / Qualification
Advanced Knowledge of 963 Operating systems
Knowledge of TREND Monitoring Systems
Advanced Knowledge on Mitsubishi control panels
