LTD Rates:
Days - £14.86
Mornings - £16.09
Afternoon - £17.32

PAYE Rates:
Days - £11.85
Mornings - £12.79
Afternoons - £13.74

PLEASE NOTE: On top of these rates you will receive a £2 retention bonus for every hour you work. This will be paid out in December before Christmas, providing you don't leave yourself.

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled sheet metal worker for ongoing projects based in Derby. The successful candidate will be manufacturing cabinets from thin plate sheet metal for a variety of rail vehicles including London underground trains. The successful candidate will be a skilled TIG welder who is comfortable working from engineering drawings to tight specifications.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate relevant experience in:

- All Sheet Metal duties including, marking, cutting, bending, forming, drilling, tapping etc.
- Ability to manufacture and build components from engineering drawings.
- Experience in TIG Welding.
- Experience of using thin plate metals, including Aluminium
- Working to various tolerances, 1mm - 5mm predominantly
- Using press machines, guillotines etc.
- At least a Level 2 NVQ in Fabrication & Welding

ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO TIG WELD THIN PLATE ALUMINIUM TO THIN GAUGE TOLERANCE.
