This leading engineering manufacturing company in Heanor, is looking for an experienced H&S Co-ordinator to work in a busy company, on a 6 month temporary basis with a view to a permanent position upon completion. Offering a salary of up to £25K pro rata to work 37.5hours a week. This role could also suit someone who would like to work flexible hours around school times (minimum 28 hours a week)

As a H&S Co-ordinator you will:-

Support the H&S Manager with the following:

- Monthly H&S updates and statistics, formatting and distribution of data
- Updating internal records regarding incidents, near misses and accidents
- Gensuite Action tracking and incident reporting support

Maintain waste management regulatory compliance
Support regulatory compliance reporting, gathering data and document control
Accident and incident investigations
Oversee the input of inspection and audit findings to the management and update systems
Update internal records with recent accidents, near misses and incidents

The Ideal Candidate:-

Experienced H&S Administrator or H&S Co-ordinator ideally from a manufacturing background
IOSH / NEBOSH is desirable
Experience and knowledge of Legal compliance
Flexible and adaptable
Be a positive role model for safety
Experience of Excel, Office etc
