A rapidly growing client of mine in South Manchester is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Service Desk Engineer should be highly customer focused, with excellent communication skills with the ability of working within a demanding IT environment and able to demonstrate good organisational skills.

Key Skills required of the Service Desk Engineer:

* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Good Office Administration
* Experience of Microsoft Windows 7 & 10
* Experience of Microsoft Active Directory user administration
* Experience of Microsoft Office 2013/16 & Office 365
* A positive approach to learning

Desirable Skills and Experience required of the Service Desk Engineer:

* Office Administration
* Office Floor Plan Management
* Stock Control\Peripheral Management
* Experience of ITSM Incident logging tool, such as FreshService.
* Purchasing
* Inventory Management
* 3rd Party Relationship Management
* Experience of PC and Laptop configuration, support and troubleshooting
* Experience Microsoft Network Administration
* An understanding of ITIL Service Management approaches
* Any Microsoft, Cisco or ITIL certifications
* Experience of configuring and administering phone systems for end users
* Full Clean driving licence for Site Visits to our 3 local Manchester sites

The successful Service Desk Engineer will be paid up to £20,000 per annum.
