Teaching Assistant | Secondary Teaching Assistant | Blackburn

This is the perfect opportunity with an Ofsted graded 'Requires Improvement' secondary school in Blackburn looking to hire a teaching assistant/graduate teaching assistant starting in February 2018.

Are you an inspiring and nurturing influence on learners? Are you driven to develop into a qualified teacher?

At Quality Teachers we believe communication is the key to a professional and successful working relationship. We strive to listen to our candidates and find the right position to meet their needs.

We are building an education community that we are incredibly proud of and are looking to find high quality candidates to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teaching assistant/graduate teaching assistant to support classes across a range of year groups and subjects, offering perfect experience for a flexible candidate looking to make the move into teaching. Any successful candidate will work alongside classroom teachers and discuss strategies in how to maximise attainment. This opportunity will allow you to learn from teachers and students alike and have a complete understanding of how to become an outstanding classroom teacher.

Catering for over 1,000 students any successful candidate would be joining a large community of staff all dedicated to supporting each other. The school has a behaviour management system in place that is focused on both praising positive behaviour as well as sanctioning negative behaviour - any successful candidate should adhere to this system when working with students in order to provide consistency.

The school's SENDCo told me 'This a very supportive community here. As well as giving the students the best opportunity to succeed with our support, we also assist each other and work as a team.'

To join the QT team and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
* Hold a degree
* Develop professional relationships with school staff, students and parents
* Support staff in their classroom management whilst developing your own strategies

In return for your hard work and assistance in maintaining the Quality Teachers reputation in the market, we offer competitive rates of pay, 24 hour contact with your dedicated local consultant, access to CPD, refer a friend scheme and an honest and trustworthy service. In addition to this we will provide opportunities to meet with other educational professionals at our coffee mornings and variety of events.

For more information or an informal discussion to find out how we can help, please contact Quality Teachers Manchester. This vacancy is being handled by Dan Whitelegg.

Please note:
