VIQU have partnered with a growing client seeking a Software Support Technician (1st line moving into 2nd line). Working in a team of 6 you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to customers using the company’s software across the UK and in over 60 countries worldwide.

Responsibilities will include:

* Conducting system set-ups and configurations
* Providing administrator training and support to clients over the phone and by email
* Resolving customer queries and/or escalating issues where required
* Producing specifications for systems developments, testing and overseeing system launches
* Management of smaller IT projects
* Liaising with internal developers, designers, web builders and sales staff

Background and skills required:

* Solid knowledge of Excel
* Ideally SQL knowledge
* An understanding of web-based applications
* Good problem solving abilities
* Excellent communication and written capabilities
* A related degree or equivalent experience
* Great customer service skills

There is 21 days' holiday + bank holidays, paid medical leave, a city centre location and a £1000 training budget.

This is an ideal entry level role for someone looking to develop in a growing business. If you have SQL skills then progression can accelerate into 2nd line quicker.
