If you are a time-served all-rounder who can demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles, you could be our next Mining Electrician.

The Role

* Preventative and reactive maintenance work on heavy equipment
* Working on telehandlers, conveyors, mining machines
* Editing and fault-finding of PLCs
* Making equipment and extending cables
* A four-week, staggered dayshift pattern. On week one, you'll work Monday to Friday (7am to 3pm) and Saturday (6am to 4pm); on week two, you'll work Monday to Friday; on week three, you'll repeat week one; on week four, you will have the full week off - which is independent of your 24 days' holiday entitlement.

Experience Requirements

* Working on heavy equipment - at least 5 years
* Working in a mining, quarry, factory, brickwork and/or cement environment - at least five years
* An understanding of PLCs, SCADA, fault-finding and editing - at least two years
* Apprentice-trained in an electrical discipline
* Continuous improvement - at least two years
