Working within the IT systems team, you will gain exposure to various systems from windows and ubuntu desktops to virtual environments and phone systems to cloud based technologies. With exciting projects on the horizon from windows 10 migration to unified communications

Key Responsibilities

• Answering and resolving user desktop support enquiries via phone, email or im
• Troubleshooting all software and hardware problems escalating where appropriate to other members of the department.
• Adhering to SLA’s and updating users on ticket status
• Installing, configuring and managing all user IT equipment from Desktops and laptops to telephones and software.
• Setup, installation and removal of office furniture and equipment when in use with IT equipment.
• Assisting with all internal office and desk moves as and when required
• Ad hoc duties as and when required by line management
• Asset and user account management accordance with company procedures
• Evaluating and testing new platforms and software when required
• Being involved in new deployment projects

Key skills and Experience

• Good communication skills
• Working well within a team environment but also working off your own initiative
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
• Basic understanding of networking (on the job training will be provided)
• Ability to logically troubleshoot and diagnose problems
• Ability to research and discover new solutions

• Exposure to Domain and Active directory environments
• Ubuntu / Unix operating systems
• LibreOffice / Office 365 / Google apps
• Oracle Virtual Box
