An FE College in the West-Midlands are on the hunt for a new Games Design Lecturer to join their team on a permanent full-time basis, starting ASAP.

The role of the successful applicant is to deliver vocational programmes of study, driving up standards and attracting new students through the use of new technologies and applications. You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Games Design, and you will help the college in raising the profile and the success rate of the students within the Games Design provision. You will be teaching students at level 2 and level 3.

The salary for this position will be £24,000 - £38,000 and the hours of work will be 37 per week.

To be considered for the role, suitable applicants will need the following:
- A degree or equivalent training in a related subject area
- A teaching qualification (Or be willing to work towards this)
- Experience of teaching Games Design, preferably within FE.
- Proven experience as an effective personal tutor and a track record of delivering results.

Knowledge in the following areas is highly desirable:
- 3D Design – Maya, 3ds Max
- 3D Sculpting – Mudbox
- 3D Games Engines – UKD, Unreal 4, Unity
- 2D Game Engines – Contruct 2, Gamemaker
- Creative Suite – Photoshop, Flash,
- Java
