Business Development Manager / BD Manager / Sales Manager (x 2)
Do you have experience developing short, medium and long term sales strategies to ensure business growth? Do you have experience working in the aerospace, defence or Marine industry sectors?

If so, my client is interested in hearing from you. The company are an established specialist in electronic cabinets, rugged display systems and cathodic protection systems in the marine, defence and commercial markets.
Their rigorous manufacturing quality standards and thorough testing processes have enabled them to achieve a worldwide reputation for quality.
Please note due to the nature of the work all applicants will be required to go through a basic check security clearance – all applicants must have held permanent residency in the UK for the last 6 years.
THE SALARY/RATE/PACKAGE/BENEFITS
Business Development Manager / BD Manager / Sales Manager ( x 2)
The Business Development Manager will receive:
• Competitive annual salary and package
• 9 day fortnight - every other Friday off
• Can buy and sell holiday - up to 5 extra days
• Pension - up to 5%
• Extensive travel will be required for the role
• Based in Dorset – Poole, Wimborne, Bournemouth

THE CANDIDATE
Business Development Manager / BD Manager / Sales Manager ( x 2)
The Business Development Manager will require the following experience:
Essential Skills/Experience
• Experience of commercial business principles to EBITDA level i.e. costs, margins commissions etc
• Significant experience exploiting routes to market
• Technical understanding of the naval infrastructure, consoles and cabinets on both surface and submarine platforms
Desirable
• Good understanding of contractual terms and conditions
• A proven track record of negotiation and closing commercial deals

THE ROLE
Business Development Manager / BD Manager / Sales Manager ( x 2)
• Identify and solicit new market opportunities
• Prepare and present regular sales and order forecasts against budgets
• Keeping up to speed with market trends, competitor activities and market needs
• Undertake travel both internationally and UK wide to meet customer expectations
