Are you looking for a role within people development, delivering a range of activities to enable and inspire individuals to achieve sustained employment as well as improvements in well-being, confidence and independence? This is an outstanding opportunity to make a big difference to people's lives within the East and South-East London areas on an outreach basis.
The role will be 37.5 hours per week with flexible work options, working at various locations across the boroughs of the area (including Barking & Dagenham, Enfield, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley). The ability to travel independently across the area is required. A competitive salary (£24,500-£27,500 per annum) and range of benefits are offered, including career progression and access to qualifications.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring individuals have access to the most appropriate elements of the service
* Identifying barriers to gaining and sustaining employment
* Helping individuals to identify their goals, strengths, skills and recognise their achievements
* Providing support when individuals progress into work
* Working to KPIs and performance targets
* Ensuring contract compliance and effective use of resources
* Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders

The role is focused on customer care, specifically around listening, questioning and building relationships, therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key. Candidates should be able to evidence this as well as the ability to problem solve, plan and organise in order to meet targets and deadlines.
