Castles Education are recruiting Behaviour Mentors on behalf of a large pupil referral unit service that provides short term education and support to those pupils who have been temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream education.

The provisions cater for children and young people up to the age of 16, many of whom have social, emotional & mental health challenges.

The service requires individuals who -

* have experience working in an educational/support setting, e.g. school, PRU, secure unit, mental health unit, children's residential care home
* possess good leadership skills
* are proactive and use their initiative
* have excellent behaviour management skills

The service adopts the Team-Teach approach to behaviour management so it it important that you either have the training qualification or are willing to attend the 2 day training course in February half term. Castles Education have an in-house trainer therefore this is something we can offer you at a much reduced rate! (Please ask for more information)
