This opportunity is open to those who work within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment who support documentation change through design change / project change.

You do not need to have experience within design but you will need to have an appreciation and knowledge of design through to manufacture. You will work alongside the best engineers in the industry. You will work closely with the head of electrical and head of mechanical while gaining exposure to an automated and robotic environment.

The Role & Person

The role of Technical Author is responsible for creating and developing all technical documentation as required by the business to support our customers and business development.

Technical documentation includes illustrated equipment operating manuals and maintenance procedures and other technical documentation as required.

Some of the Key responsibilities:

* Responsible for document change through Liaising with all appropriate parties including technical design engineers, product specialists and product directors to provide accurate technical documentation on time and to customer and business requirements
* Produce technical documentation both written and illustrated as required by our customer and business requirements
* Produce and manage a document management plan
* Validate operation and maintenance procedures included in the technical documentation
