Are you an experienced teacher with QTS? Do you have experience, or a passion for, teaching pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?

Protocol Education require a strong and committed teacher to work in a SEND school in Croydon. The school has small class sizes, as well as excellent support in place both within the classroom and throughout the school. The school has a primary and secondary site, and caters for pupils with ASD and complex needs.

As this role will entail working with pupils with specific SEND requirements, previous experience teaching in a SEND setting, with strong classroom management, is desirable.

Ideally, you will:

• Have attained QTS
• Be able to commit to a full-time role (5 days per week)
• Have an adult DBS, or be willing to acquire one through Protocol

• Have previous experience working with children with different educational
needs
• Confidence differentiating lessons for pupils with a range of different academic
abilities
• Good interpersonal and communicational skills
• Familiarity with instructional approaches required to facilitate complete access
to the curriculum for pupils with ASD and other complex needs
