SERVICE CO-ORDINATOR - JOB DESCRIPTION
Hours:38 per week
8.30am 5pm Monday to Thursday (30 mins lunch)
8.30am 2.30pm Friday
Our client in Milton Keynes are looking for a Service Co-ordinator to work in their Installation & Service Department. This is a new role that will suit someone who is a good organiser with excellent communicational skills; and has the potential to develop the role further.
Working in a technical office, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth running of the Installation & Service Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the diary, and allocating jobs to a team of Installation & Service Engineers, as well as dealing with customer enquiries.
Full training will be given in the role.
Key responsibilities:
•Diary management for the Installation & Service Engineers
•Allocate and distribute jobs to the Installation & Service Engineers
•Be the main point of contact for incoming calls to the Installation & Service Department, identifying and distributing calls to the appropriate member of staff in a timely manner
•Effectively manage emails and other correspondence from customers
•Liaise between internal staff and customers; keeping all parties up to date regarding progress of order/ enquiry/ problem etc
•Liaise between the Installation & Service Department and shop floor as required
•Book installation and delivery dates of Barfeeds with customers
•Responsibility for pre-delivery inspection checks on Barfeeds prior to customer's delivery
•Be first point of contact for spares orders; see the order through to completion
•Monitor and manage stock of spares and other component parts necessary for servicing
•Create quotes and raise works orders where required
•Attend meetings as and when necessary
•Work closely with the Operations Manager to assist with the administration of the Installation & Service Department
•Any other ad-hoc duties as required
