Milton Keynes College are looking for flexible and professional learning support / teaching assistants to join our developing bank of zero hours staff to provide additional learning support across both mainstream education and inclusive learning.
This is a highly rewarding role that will provide our students with the right support to succeed in their further education courses.
The cover needs could range from single lessons up to full days/weeks, and could be needed at short notice ? so a person who is able to offer flexible hours is essential.
There may also be occasions when specialist BSL support might be required (hourly rates to be determined for this type of support based on experience/qualifications).
We are interested in hearing from professionals with a background in special educational needs (SEN), British sign language (BSL) and 1-1 student support.

As a successful candidate you will have?

Literacy and numeracy skills to a minimum of level 2 in Maths and English
Flexibility to work variable hours, sometimes at short notice
Experience of establishing appropriate relationships with people with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities and being a positive role model
A calm can do attitude
Experience/awareness/knowledge of SEN and Learning disabilities
The experience to know when and how to make interventions to ensure student progress is successful and sustainable

Location: Chaffron Way Campus & Bletchley Campus.
Hours: Variable - Term Time only, Mon-Fri
Salary: ?Zero hours contract - ?10.15 - ?12.58 per hour
