The successful candidate will become a uniquely skilled Project Design Engineer working alongside a dynamic team of process and design engineers who manage the entire process from initial concept to commissioning.

* Design and manufacture of rotating equipment for machinery

The Role

* Provide technical support for design and project engineering activities, developing working knowledge of CAD systems and implementation of projects
* On-site liaising with sub-contractors, customers and any relevant stakeholders
* Utilizing practical site experience, developing knowledge of process solutions and their implementation.
* Interpret a wide range of technical specifications and drawings which leads to modelling of plant layouts, production of detailed piping isometrics and support details.
* Environmental, ISO quality and H&S procedures / documentation
* Tendering, purchasing of equipment and services to ensure successful and on-time implementation of turn-key projects.

The Person

The right candidate will have a First Class (or 2:1) Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical with a genuine passion for engineering, and have a naturally creative and innovative. You will have an appetite for coming up with new ideas, taking them from initial concept stage through to completion, but also "practical" engineering skills to complement the theory.

* Excellent knowledge of mechanical engineering, understands the fundamentals of engineering.

* Have the willingness and ability to learn.
