This Tool Fitter role , based near Milton Keynes, is to support the Company’s needs in the day to day requirements of service, maintenance and repair of tools and construction equipment. This would be a fantastic opportunity to join a well- established, nationwide hire company; offering overtime and career development.

The Duties of the Tool Fitter include:

* As the tool fitter, you will be required to service, repair and modify diesel and petrol engines and all types of small power tools.
* Electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
* Manage administration tasks and complete all service and repair records accurately.
* Work well under pressure and retain a positive attitude to customer service
* PAT testing and PDI inspections.

To be successful within this Tool Fitter role, you would have previous experience working as a workshop tool fitter, workshop fitter, test and run fitter, service engineer, or a workshop fitter within the tool hire sector. It would be desirable if you hold an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in mechanical engineering or plant maintenance, however, it is essential that you have previous experience working on a range of small tools such as power drills or grinders.
