Are you a driven and exciting Learning Mentor looking for a new role? Do you enjoy working with children who have faced barriers to learning? This Ofsted “good” PRU are need an experienced Learning Mentor to join the team and provide secondary aged students with additional classroom based support. You will be a confident, approachable and friendly Learning Mentor who is comfortable managing behaviour. Working with small groups and on a 1-2-1 basis you will ensure that the students are engaging with the lessons and are making the necessary academic progress. You will be supported by an excellent team, and this is a highly rewarding role for the right person. An easy commute from Dudley, Tipton, Oldbury, Halesowen, Walsall and Birmingham, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Mentor.

Ideally you will be:-

- A TA or Learning Mentor used to working with children and young adults with barriers to learning

- A confident classroom practitioner able to support lessons in a creative and inspiring manner

- Used to finding creative solutions to challenging behaviour

- Encouraging participation in lessons

- Happy to work on a 1-2-1 or small group basis

- Able to provide support to teaching staff across core subjects

- A friendly, professional and dedicated Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor

- Able to provide recent, relevant education references
