We currently have a requirement for a SHE Advisor based at our contract in Teesside. Reporting to the Cape Manager and Regional HSE Manager, you will provide day to day HSE support to the contract as well as ensuring legal and business compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide HSE leadership, mentoring and support to key contract stakeholders
• Build and maintain local relationships with key Cape and client’s stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and Company HSE standards
• Provide HSE advice, coaching and guidance to key stakeholders
• Drive the delivery of the contract HSE improvement plans (Support HSE CI process)
• Lead and participate in incident investigation and ensure high quality of all investigation reports and timely conclusions
• Support Project Manager with site HSE communications
• Ensure a program of audit and assurance activities are in place and key stakeholders are aware of their requirements (support and mentor)
• Support contract specific initiatives such as PSI program etc
• Lead and support the implementation of agreed strategic improvement plans
• Provide HSE reporting and analysis for the contract
• Lead D&A testing at site

Skills and Experience:
• Recognised HSE qualification e.g. NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent
• 14001 & 18001 Lead Auditor
• 10 years + industrial safety experience
• Root Cause Analysis experience – Taproot
• Chartered or Graduate IOSH
