Purchasing Coordinator is required to join a well-established steel manufacture based in Sheffield, this is a varied role where you will need excellent organisation and administration skills.

The successful Purchasing Coordinator will be based in the busy Head Office reporting to the Financial Director where you will be joining a team .

Package:
Salary: £20-27K depending on experience
28 days holiday including bank holidays
Monday to Friday

Purchasing Coordinator Duties:
• Overall responsibility for hiring of general plant including all associated record keeping (e.g. hire logs, off hire notices etc).
• Management of in house plant & tools.
• Procurement duties including purchasing of general items for site, factory and offices.
• Sourcing and ordering of external haulage.
• Management fleet (HGV, vans & cars).
• Booking of accommodation for site labour.

Requirements:
Previous experience as Purchasing Coordinator, Purchasing Administrator, Purchasing Assistant or similar is essential
Background in manufacturing, steel, metal works or engineering
Stable working history
Excellent organisation and administration skills
