ROLE: Paint Sprayer - RAIL

Proud to be recruiting for a market leading commercial rail company.
Due to business expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Paint Sprayer to join our Client's busy premises in Burton on Trent on a temp to perm basis.

If you are a Paint Sprayer who has experience in spraying rail components or have transferable skills from Automotive, Aviation, Shopfitting, Rail or Commercial vehicles such as Vans, Trucks, LGV, HGV, Buses, or even plant we want to hear from you!

Job purpose:

A vacancy exists within this reputable Commercial Rail company for enthusiastic and committed Paint Sprayer. This is an exciting opportunity, working in a progressive Rail company's Paint Facility to meet strict delivery schedules. The candidate will be proactive, motivated Aircraft Sprayers who can work well in a team environment. Flexibility of approach and a desire to learn new processes whilst working to exacting quality standards are also key.

Key Tasks:

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

*Must have experience of Application and removal of all types of 2 pack materials.
*Applying Customers livery/external markings iaw relevant drawings and bulletins.
*Recording of materials used and time taken on Job Cards and on the electronic job tracking system
*Compliance with H&S procedures and Safe Systems of Work at all times
*Positive input in to continuous improvement activities


The successful candidate will have:

*Ideally Previous experience in a Rail, aircraft, car restoration Finishing environment where quality and schedule compliance were key preferred.
*Preferably with a City and Guilds Qualification working in an MRO within an organization that practiced continuous improvement.
*GCSE grade C or above in Mathematics and English or an equivalent.
*Skills necessary to support clear and concise verbal and written communication
*The ability to accurately follow detailed work instructions and specifications
*Be able to interpret technical drawings
*The ability to work in confined spaces for completion of the product

A qualification in Paint Spraying (City and Guilds or NVQ) or comparable trade papers from the Armed Forces, or a recognised indentured apprenticeship is ideal.
