Apprenticeship Levy and Business Growth Consultant

Contract: Initial 3 Months term with the potential of a 1 year+ extension by mutual agreement.

Pathway Group is seeking Apprenticeship Levy and Business Growth Consultant specifically with regards to establishing and developing employer relations with Apprenticeship Levy paying organisations and developing strategic partnership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- To consult and assist the Director for the development of the Company’s business strategies; and to assist in the development and implementation of associated strategies
- To assist and provide consultancy to the Director to enable him to lead and manage the company and grow partnerships with Levy paying employers and businesses.
- To constructively challenge and develop proposals on strategy
- To develop and lead on the company’s delivery strategy
- To network and promote the success of the company, identifying new business opportunities and developing partnerships with appropriate institutions
- To enhance our business engagement and recruitment activity
- To consult and assist the Director for the development of the Company’s systems and controls, including financial strategies and risk management
- To maximise existing income streams and identify new income generation strategies
- To assist and provide consultancy to the Director to enable him to better co-ordinate various functions across the Company
- To represent the Company, both externally and internally; at events and other such occasions
- To undertake any other reasonable tasks and duties at the request of the Director

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Experience working as a Business Growth Consultant or similar capacity
- Director level experience and knowledge of Levy paying employers and their Talent Management and Training practices and budgets
- Exceptional business acumen and ability to identify new business opportunities
- Awareness of recent developments and legislations in areas of Apprenticeship and Skills funding and wider areas of the education and training sector and understanding of future direction
- Ability to assimilate, assess and analyse information e.g. financial information
- Exercise sound, independent judgement
- Exercise reasonable care, skill and diligence
- High ethical standards
