About this Role:

My client is a World Leading Civil Engineering and Construction Company.

My client is looking to appoint, on a permanent basis, a Site Engineer who has experience of Highways & Drainage related projects, preferably with a Principal Civil Engineering Contractor.

Initially, you will be working on a prestigious two year Highways Contract in South East Kent.

The project essentially involves the creation of a new junction at along a congested stretch of a major highway and includes the following elements;

Construction of a large new roundabout

Construction of several new slip roads

The construction of a new link road

New and improved traffic signals at several locations along the scheme

The construction of a new pedestrian footbridge

Demolition of an existing footbridge

The construction of a new cycle bridge

Earthworks, drainage, and civils

This is a tremendous opportunity to join a World Leading Civil Engineering Contractor that is at the forefront of many of the UK`s largest projects which include SMART Motorways, Crossrail and HS2.

The Requirements

You will have a minimum of a HNC in Civil Engineering. You may currently be working as a Site Engineer/Section Engineer for a Civil Engineering Contractor. It is vital that you possess excellent people management skills and have the drive and enthusiasm to manage a project through to completion, within budget and program.

In this role, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Site supervision, including health and safety management

Producing and method statements and risk assessments

Site cost/value control

Client liaison

Organising plant and materials

Responsible for all correspondence and record keeping

About the Company/Client/Project:

A World leading Civil Engineering Contractor.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

A BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with recent and relevant experience in a similar role.

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
