Data Privacy & Records Partner / Data Protection Officer - (GDPR)

A Data Privacy & Records Partner / Data Protection Officer is needed to join a global Ecommerce / Multichannel Retailer in London. Based from their UK Head Office in Chiswick expect to play a key role supporting the design, development, operation and enforcement of the privacy program in the UK and EU.

With over 20 years' experience and operations in countries across the globe, this household name Multichannel Retailer employs over 17,000 people worldwide and are ranked as one of the world's top multimedia shopping companies in terms of both viewers and revenue. Continuing to experience exciting levels of growth, they are now seeking a Data Privacy & Records Partner / Data Protection Officer to support the Global Data Privacy Officer.

Joining as the Data Privacy & Records Partner / Data Protection Officer you will lead privacy initiatives whilst supporting the design, development and implementation of an EU/UK record management program. Whether you are maintaining GDPR-compliant data privacy practices; developing risk-based, pragmatic data privacy solutions; implementing EU/UK records retention programs; actively monitoring important developments in UK/EU data privacy and records law or providing leadership in developing practical privacy reviews and data protection impact assessment (PIA) processes, it will be your extensive experience in Data Privacy that ensures the best data privacy and records practices are put in place and monitored.

To qualify. You should be a Data Privacy & Records Partner / Data Protection Officer / GDPR Officer / GDPR Consultant / Privacy Manager / Data Compliance Officer or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a similar Legal / Data Privacy role;
  • Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining GDPR- compliant data privacy practices and Record Management programs;
  • Excellent relationship building skills;
  • The ability to get stuck in and make a difference.
