Your new role
This client is looking for a candidate who is a self-starter who is capable of working within a team and dealing with both internal and external customers. This is a fast paced role requiring a flexible, hands-on approach. Previous experience in a busy accounts department is desirable. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Coding and posting of invoices, service and purchase order invoices
- Control of a purchase ledger account
- Reconcile supplier accounts
- Preparation of accounts to trial balance stage
- Preparation of month end journals
- Analysis of overheads
- Monthly breakdowns
- Bank reconciliation
- Vat return
- Preparation of cheque and bacs payments
What you'll need to succeed
You will have the ability to interact at all levels and work under pressure. You will be enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and willing to learn with flexibility and a positive hands on approach. You will be able to work on own initiative and in a team. You must be have experience with computer systems. This client is looking for a candidate who has excellent communication skills and can problem solve.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £18,000-£20,000 DOE, working hours 08:30-17:00 Monday-Friday, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension scheme, on-site parking, long service awards and canteen facilities.
