Due to growth within the Accounting Advisory Services team, they are seeking a Manager to join the team.

Your new role
As a Manager in the Accounting Advisory Services team, you will provide specialist accounting advice to clients across a range of sectors (not FS). Projects focus on the application of technical accounting including accounting policy conversions, GAAP analysis, preparation of financial statements, merger and acquisition activity, group restructuring and training. All of which will be across cross-functional teams including Transnational Services, Corporate Finance, Audit and Tax. Key responsibilities will include managing client accounting related engagements and managing small teams. Finally, you will be contributing to practice and risk management, including thought leadership and business development activities.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting experience with IFRS. UK GAAP and Companies Law knowledge is preferred but not essential. Strong experience with recent developments in accounting, in particular IFRSs 9, 15 and 16 and experience of developing and presenting accounting training courses is preferred, as is experience of managing teams and project management. You should be analytical and have attention to detail, a problem solving attitude and proven ability to apply accounting concepts to unusual one-off situations. Finally, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential to this role.
