Our client, a company in Shrewsbury has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
The position involves working directly alongside the Finance Director in a small but friendly team handling a broad set of tasks in the accounts/finance department.
Responsibilities include but not be limited to:
Processing daily receipts.
Reconciliation of purchase and sales ledgers.
Liaising with suppliers and utility companies regarding payment.
Dealing with customer queries.
Preparation of credit card reconciliations.
Intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Assisting with the payroll.
Various administrative duties as required.
Educated to AAT Level ideal but not essential.
Computer literate with MS office packages, any experience using Kerridge systems would be beneficial.
Strong team player.
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
Proactive approach and ability to use their initiative and take on responsibility.
