Due to growth within their technical accounting team, they are seeking an Assistant Manager.

Your new role
This firm is seeking an additional qualified Assistant Manager to join their London Audit department, specifically within their technical accounting advisory team. You will continue to help expand the depth and breadth of accounting based services in areas such as Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Audit and Tax. You will provide accounting support to transaction and tax teams answering questions on technical issues and providing input for reports. You will develop and deliver accounting training to clients and staff as well as being responsible for people management and performance development. Finally, you will be responsible for the management of client accounting related engagements.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting experience with IFRS. UK GAAP and Companies Law knowledge is preferred but not essential. Strong experience with recent developments in accounting, in particular IFRSs 9, 15 and 16 and experience of developing and presenting accounting training courses is preferred, as is experience of managing teams and project management. You should be analytical and have attention to detail, a problem solving attitude and proven ability to apply accounting concepts to unusual one-off situations. Finally, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential to this role.
