National Account Manager - Convenience & 2nd Tier Retail

Exception basic salary, bonus and package

With a focus on producing best in category quality chilled foods for Retail, Convenience and Foodservice channels. Our client has built its success through developing and sourcing products that are ahead of the innovation curve. They are a dynamic food processor, who offer their customers bespoke and flexible innovative food solutions that drive category growth. Focused predominantly on Own Label Retailer brand portfolio, that target ethical and food trend conscious consumers with best in category authentic products.

As part of an on-going investment in growth, we have been asked to source a Senior National Account Manager who will report into the Commercial Director to drive customer strategy and development within its Convenience and 2nd Tier Retail account portfolio.

We are looking for individuals who are results orientated, fast paced and capable of managing a category leading supplier status accounts. The exact portfolio will be around the substantial and is in dramatic growth, so we are keen to reiterate that we are not looking for just a safe pair of hands. The successful candidate will be an individual who challenges the status quo with ambition and a drive that is beyond the normal Account Manager.

Previous Chilled innovation driven food category experience is essential, as is working knowledge of specific customers in the Retail sector. This will ideally be coupled with exposure to foodie categories and a thorough understanding of Category Marketing and Innovation.

You will be comfortable working closely with Category Marketing and Development functions internally and externally and be held in high regard by customers.
