Live Media Delivery Technician B2B Customers 25k Salary progressing to 27k after 6 months Shift work

Urgent position Must have an extreme interest in Technology and perhaps have dealt with streaming

Due to an increase in business my client is seeking an additional member of staff to add to their busy team

Required skills and experience:

Basic knowledge of video production workflows.

Strong writing and customer service experience.

IT Knowledge

Desired skills and Experience:

Experience in an office environment.

Live event experience.

Tech savviness

It is envisaged you would have worked in the following arenas

People from tech/web-based support teams

People from IT Helpdesks, ideally customer facing helpdesks.

People with experience in online bookies/app support/stream troubleshooting environments

People from an events/production background, however, candidates should know they won't be on set/on site and whilst they do have transferable skills they will be office based supporting the B2B clients.

This is Important

My client is a 24/7 tech support team. The crew is split into four teams of four per shift. Shifts are 12 hours long 8 am to 8 pm and vice versa.

In a 15 day, period candidates will work 8 i.e 4 on 4 off etc. In a 30 day, period candidates will work 8-day shifts 8-night shifts.


Provide fast and accurate customer service.

Learn client’s platforms and advanced troubleshooting of their streaming architecture.

Work effectively with their production teams to achieve results.

Maintain a "birds eye view" of all live and upcoming content across their platforms and be able to take action when needed.

They deal with live data & video. Every minute counts.

Make fast decisions and have them be right.

Customer service experience.

Strong written communication.

A restless mind. Anticipate and fix problems.

Typical day:

Confirming schedule of all live events for the day.

Monitoring data and video streams for quality and timeliness

Thoroughly documenting all events, issues and customer interactions.
