Reed Education are urgently looking for outstanding, qualified teaching assistants to work within the Cheshire East area. Due to popular demand we now have positions available for both primary and secondary trained support staff to work on temporary, contract and permanent assignments.

As A Teaching Assistant you will be supporting children with a range of learning abilities. You may be a general TA within the classroom – supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and simplifying tasks where appropriate. Or you could be working with small groups of children following a educational learning plan and in some cases on a 1:1 basis supporting a child with specific learning needs.

Your roles may include:

•Delivering tailored teaching activities to pupils
•Engage pupils in learning, making sure they stay on task and have an enjoyable learning experience
•Support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues as necessary
•Manage challenging pupil behaviour;
•Guide and monitor pupil progress;
•Carry out administrative duties such as preparing classroom resources;
•provide support outside of your normal classes, such as helping during exams, covering TA absences or going on school trips;

You will have the following:

•Recent relevant experience working within Secondary or Primary Schools.
•An excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of pupil achievements.
•Creative, energetic and resourceful.
•SEN experience is desirable
•Minimum Level 2 NVQ or level 3
•Registered online DBS check.
