An outstanding pupil referral unit based in South East London is seeking an English Teacher to start immediately. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed Teacher with good recent English teaching experience who is adaptable and willing to work with challenging behaviour. The school is a friendly, safe, positive and structured environment in which every young person is respected and encouraged to achieve independence (through academic, employment and personal skills development).
The school favours a cognitive behavioural therapy approach to teaching and learning and uses the National Autistic Society TEACCH guidelines as the cornerstone of their ethos for teachers and support workers.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our school's continued development where you will be working closely with the Principal, Deputy Principal Teaching and Support staff to improve learning outcomes for all pupils.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a desire for improving pupil outcomes. The right candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning and the skills to engage, inspire and motivate students. You will also offer a flexible approach to your role and be confident in delivering learning and development to small groups and across various levels of academic ability.

Your working week will be Monday- Friday.
